The
ladies of Crossgar and the surrounding area were treated to a night
of fashion, beauty and much more when the group held its April
meeting. President, Sheila McMurray, welcomed all to an evening of fashion and
entertainment, which she described as "a showcase of
Crossgar village". She then asked those present to join with her in
observing a minute's silence to mark the death of The Queen Mother ,
who was a member of Sandringham W.I.
A particularly warm welcome was extended to distinguished guest,
Federation Chairman, Mrs Joan Shanks, who very kindly took time from
her hectic schedule to be with Crossgar Institute.
