Coffee & Garden Party, Thursday, 23rd May 2005
The President and members of Crossgar Women’s Institute are grateful to Ian & Heather Lindsay
for hosting its Coffee and Garden Party on Thursday 23 May. The house blends beautifully into the countryside owing much to the skilful use of stone in its construction while the extensive gardens have been carefully laid out and tended to make for a relaxing haven bordered by trees and flowers. Adjacent to the property is a small pond which has been landscaped and is home to several varieties of ducks and geese. Guests were invited to take a relaxing stroll through the gardens, enjoying a warm summers day, before returning to the house for tea, coffee, scones and other treats provided by the Institute.
Finally, the Institute would also like to thank all the people that attended the event making it such a success. A donation to the Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary is being made.
